Audio Drama: Beyond the Gates podcast

Logo of the Beyond the Gates podcast - an anthology series of morality tales with supernatural and sci-fi elements.

The Beyond the Gates podcast was our first joint project. It’s an anthology series of morality tales with supernatural and sci-fi elements (in the vein Twilight Zone, Black Mirror, Inside No 9).

The goal of the series was to tell entertaining, thought-provoking and occasionally touching stories spanning various genres. Throughout the project, we were privileged to have worked with an array of very talented people.

We distributed through Acast and as part of the Mutual Audio Network. It was showcased on BBC Upload which gave us further exposure and was a fun experience to participate in.

Having made it with limited resources, some of the audio production is a little rough at times, but it’s something we’re overall very proud of.

Tonight’s broadcast will be a controversial one. Regardless of whether or not you agree with it being aired, the decision has been made. It will be a spectacle, but it will also raise some difficult questions: what relationship do you want to have to the things we consume, and what responsibility do you want to take for their production? You can be the change you wish to see, as we go ‘beyond the gates’…
